Construction Manager

About the role

Royal International Construction, part of the United Al Saqer Group, is hiring a Construction Manager in Dubai. The group has been established for more than 37 years and owns several companies including Royal International Construction, which employs over 500 construction experts across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects: monitor progress against baseline, develop schedules and resource plans, identify risks and delays, and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Supervise daily site operations, manpower, materials and equipment, and oversee site engineers, foremen and subcontractors so that work follows approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures, HSE policies and environmental requirements are followed, through regular inspections, audits and coordination with QA/QC teams.
• Support EOT claims and variation orders, monitor subcontractor performance, assist in contract administration, progress billing and cost control, and document site instructions and approvals.
• Act as the main contact with clients, consultants and authorities, attend progress meetings and report accurately on construction status.
• Lead and mentor the site team, set and track KPIs, prepare progress reports and dashboards for senior management, and promote a culture of accountability, safety and quality.
• Work with planning and cost control teams to identify, assess and manage project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8-10 years in civil construction projects, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale residential, commercial or infrastructure projects.
