Construction Manager – Overhead Contact System for High‑Speed Rail

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Overhead Contact System (OCS) Construction Manager to lead the OCS construction and installation for a major high‑speed rail project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures compliance with railway electrification standards, HSE requirements, schedule, and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage OCS construction, including foundations, masts, cantilevers, contact and messenger wires, and tensioning systems.
• Develop and supervise construction methodologies, sequencing, and execution plans across multiple fronts.
• Coordinate OCS works with track, civil, structures, power supply and railway system interfaces.
• Monitor progress, productivity, equipment use and resource allocation, and report to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with technical drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, and oversee testing, commissioning readiness and energisation support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Railway Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in railway electrification and OCS construction on major projects, preferably high‑speed rail.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, specialist installation teams and construction resources.
• Professional fluency in English.
