Construction Project Manager – Dubai

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead the successful execution and delivery of IRTH Contracting projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with contract terms, scope, budget, quality, HSSE and authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract, scope, drawings, specifications, programme, budget and project requirements.
• Establish project execution plan, organisation structure, responsibility matrix and communication procedures.
• Coordinate mobilisation of personnel, subcontractors, temporary facilities, permits, plant, equipment and site services.
• Identify critical activities, long‑lead items, project risks and execution constraints early.
• Lead day‑to‑day construction execution, ensuring works follow approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP and specialist works and ensure sufficient labour, supervision, materials and plant.
• Monitor productivity, sequencing and resource utilisation, implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Manage programme by maintaining baseline schedule, monitoring progress against milestones and developing recovery plans for delays.
• Control project costs by tracking labour, material, plant and subcontractor expenditures and supporting accurate cost forecasts.
• Oversee procurement of materials, monitoring requisitions, deliveries, inspections and managing long‑lead‑time risks.
• Supervise subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with scope, quality, HSSE and programme, and taking corrective action for underperformance.
• Coordinate commercial and contractual matters, handling variations, claims, payments and ensuring proper documentation of changes.
• Ensure quality, health, safety, security and environmental compliance throughout the project.
• Act as main project representative to client, consultants and internal departments, providing accurate progress, cost and risk reports.
