Construction Project Manager

About the role

Al Mezin General Contracting, a fast-growing UAE construction company active for more than a decade, is hiring a full-time, on-site Construction Project Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees the planning, execution and delivery of construction projects from start to finish, keeping them within scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and manage site operations
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations and local building codes
• Prepare and review project plans, schedules and cost estimates, and monitor progress
• Report milestones and risks to senior management and clients
• Work with engineers, architects, suppliers and stakeholders to resolve technical issues, optimise resources and maintain client relationships

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in construction project and construction management, with a track record of delivering building and civil works projects
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related field; PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Experience on large-scale construction projects in the UAE or GCC, with knowledge of local regulations and standards
• Ability to lead diverse site teams, enforce health and safety practices and maintain quality and productivity standards
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills, with English; Arabic is beneficial

Required skills

• Project management and coordination, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder communication and risk management
• Budgeting and cost control, including estimates, expenditure monitoring and contract variations
• Proficiency in project management and construction software such as MS Project, Primavera or AutoCAD
• Familiarity with contract administration processes
