Construction Senior Manager

About the role

White Star Contracting is seeking a Construction Senior Manager to lead on‑site execution of projects in Dubai. Reporting to the Resident Engineer, you will oversee the supervision team, coordinate with the client, PMC and contractors, and ensure that construction activities meet contractual, code and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review site mobilisation packages, including temporary facilities, security, safety and camp development.
• Supervise pre‑construction activities and deliverables of the supervision team and contractors.
• Assist in preparing the project execution plan and develop a constructability programme.
• Plan, mobilise and assign tasks to construction supervision teams across all contracts.
• Lead and supervise multi‑disciplinary engineering staff and contractors on site.
• Evaluate technical proposals, resolve on‑site technical issues and ensure constructability.
• Implement dispute avoidance and resolution strategies.
• Lead expert teams in testing and commissioning procedure development.
• Conduct pre‑construction conferences and manage construction‑related correspondence.
• Monitor health and safety measures, review materials, shop drawings, method statements and mock‑ups.
• Track progress, schedule and coordination of contractors, providing recommendations to the Resident Engineer on anticipated claims.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in construction site management and supervision.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, standards and contractual obligations.
• Experience in preparing mobilisation packages, execution plans and constructability reviews.
