Construction Superintendent – Civil (Offshore PMC)

About the role

The Offshore Construction Superintendent – Civil is responsible for supervising, coordinating and monitoring all offshore civil construction activities to ensure safe, on‑schedule, on‑budget delivery in full compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise offshore civil construction works including foundations, concrete, piling, grouting and marine activities.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, marine teams and other disciplines, ensuring compliance with IFC drawings and project specifications.
• Enforce ADNOC HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections, and manage QA/QC inspections and punch‑list closure.
• Monitor progress against schedule, support planning and logistics, and report deviations to the Construction Manager.
• Act as the PMC focal point for interface management between ADNOC, EPC contractor and third parties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of civil construction experience, including 5–7 years offshore in oil & gas.
• Prior experience on PMC or ADNOC projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of offshore civil construction methods, marine works and ADNOC standards.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (BS, ASTM, ACI, ISO).
