Construction Superintendent – Fabrication

About the role

The Superintendent Construction – Fabrication is responsible for leading on‑site execution of fabrication projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This senior position requires deep knowledge of construction principles, workforce management, and project execution strategies to drive productivity and resolve technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage fabrication construction activities in line with project specifications, schedules, and company standards.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to align resources and phases across the project.
• Implement and enforce comprehensive HSE protocols to maintain a zero‑incident workplace.
• Ensure quality control throughout construction, complying with industry codes and project requirements.
• Optimize resource use, including workforce scheduling, equipment allocation, and material procurement.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors, verifying performance against contractual agreements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide timely progress updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor staff, promote skill development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in the EPCI industry with a leadership role in fabrication construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern fabrication techniques, standards, and HSE systems.
• Proven ability to lead diverse construction teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and willingness to work in various geographic locations and shift patterns.
