Consultant Allergist and Immunologist – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Consultant Allergist and Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad spectrum of allergic and immune‑mediated disorders in both adult and pediatric patients, delivering evidence‑based care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage allergic conditions such as rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food, drug and insect venom allergies, urticaria, angioedema, and anaphylaxis.
• Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency, autoimmune diseases, and other immune‑mediated conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including skin prick, intradermal, patch testing, pulmonary function testing, and laboratory IgE/immunologic studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating avoidance strategies, pharmacotherapy, allergen immunotherapy, and biologic therapies.
• Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy, managing any adverse reactions.
• Provide emergency care for anaphylaxis following clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, trigger avoidance, medication use, and emergency action plans.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists, and other specialists to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with DHA regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits, research, and continuing medical education.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and allied health professionals.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• Board certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• DHA eligibility letter, DHA licence, or eligibility for consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Minimum 8–10 years post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist.
