Consultant Anaesthetist - UK CCT

About the role

The leading UAE healthcare organisation is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist holding a UK CCT to deliver high-quality peri-operative anaesthesia services. You will join a multidisciplinary specialist team, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence across elective and emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgeries.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and design individualised anaesthetic plans.
• Administer general, regional and other appropriate anaesthetic techniques.
• Manage airway, haemodynamic status and peri-operative monitoring.
• Handle complex, high-risk surgical cases and post-operative pain management.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with UAE health regulations.
• Participate in clinical governance, teaching, training and quality-improvement activities.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Anaesthetics.
• Specialist registration with the relevant UK medical authority.
• Substantial post-CCT clinical experience, preferably in a tertiary-care or teaching hospital.
• Eligibility for DOH (Abu Dhabi) medical licensing.
