Consultant Anesthesiologist – JCI-Accredited Hospital, UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its advanced operating theatre, perioperative medicine and acute pain services and is seeking a Consultant Anesthesiologist. The role suits internationally trained specialists who want to work in a modern, quality-driven environment focused on clinical excellence, patient safety and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Conduct pre-anaesthetic assessments, risk stratification and perioperative optimisation for complex patients
• Provide general, regional, neuraxial and monitored anaesthesia care in line with clinical privileges and hospital protocols
• Manage airway emergencies, postoperative recovery, acute pain and perioperative complications
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses and operating theatre teams
• Take part in clinical governance, morbidity and mortality reviews, audits and quality improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Recognised specialist qualification such as American Board certification, UK CCT / FRCA, European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Royal College certification (Canada), FANZCA, Arab Board certification, or an equivalent MD / DNB / FCPS
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing; applicants from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America are welcome
• Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication with diverse patients and teams, and interest in long-term career development
