Consultant Cardiac Surgeon (American Board/UK CCT)

About the role

SearchPlus HR is recruiting a highly qualified Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The role demands extensive experience in cardiac surgery, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and develop surgical treatment plans.
• Perform advanced cardiac procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repair or replacement.
• Provide full peri‑operative patient management, including intra‑operative care and postoperative follow‑up.
• Manage complex and emergency cardiac cases as required.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists and nursing staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Required profile

• Recognised American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialisation experience with a proven track record in complex cardiac procedures.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient management skills across all phases of care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
