Consultant Cardiologist – Advanced Cardiac Care

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our leading healthcare facility. The role involves delivering advanced diagnosis, treatment, and long‑term management of a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions while maintaining a patient‑centered approach.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiology consultations, examinations, and risk assessments.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disease, hypertension, and cardiomyopathies.
• Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, stress testing, and other cardiac investigations.
• Manage acute cardiac events, including acute coronary syndromes and decompensated heart failure.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide long‑term follow‑up for chronic patients.
• Supervise or perform cardiac procedures within your clinical privileges.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, intensivists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Provide patient counseling on risk factors, lifestyle changes, medications, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and continuing education.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology (MD, DM, DNB, MRCP, Arab Board, FRCPath‑equivalent, or equivalent).
• Significant post‑specialization experience at consultant level.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision‑making, and patient‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary leadership skills.
