Consultant Critical Care & Pulmonologist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Critical Care & Pulmonologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive pulmonary and critical care services to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including complex pulmonary diseases.
• Provide specialist care for critically ill patients in intensive care settings.
• Manage respiratory failure, sepsis, ARDS, and other critical‑care emergencies.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and related diagnostic procedures.
• Oversee mechanical ventilation, non‑invasive ventilation, and other respiratory support therapies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, and other specialists.
• Monitor treatment response, manage complications, and ensure accurate follow‑up care.
• Maintain precise medical records and adhere to clinical protocols.
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualifications in Pulmonology, Critical Care, or a related combined specialty.
• Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Post‑specialisation clinical experience at Consultant level.
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary medicine and intensive‑care management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
