Consultant Dermatologist – UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its medical dermatology, procedural dermatology and aesthetic skin services and is looking for a Consultant Dermatologist to join its clinical team. The role suits internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure and a modern, quality-driven environment serving an international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage medical dermatology conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, infections and hair and nail disorders
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions and laser or aesthetic treatments within scope
• Provide skin cancer screening, mole assessment and long-term follow-up
• Counsel patients on treatment options, skincare, medication safety and realistic aesthetic expectations
• Collaborate with allergy, rheumatology, oncology, plastic surgery and pathology teams when needed
• Maintain consent, photography standards, documentation and infection control practices

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Dermatologist with recognised qualifications such as ABOD, UK CCT / MRCP Dermatology, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian FACD, Arab Board, or MD / DNB / FCPS equivalents
• Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America, subject to UAE licensing and facility credentialing
• Strong clinical judgement, evidence-based practice and patient safety
• Excellent communication with culturally diverse patients and teams, and ability to adapt to UAE regulations and hospital governance
