Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician – Dubai

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its emergency and acute care services. The Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team to deliver rapid, high‑quality care to a diverse international patient population in a modern, fully equipped emergency department.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis and management of medical, surgical and traumatic emergencies.
• Stabilise life‑threatening conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological and trauma cases.
• Carry out emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, resuscitation, wound care, fracture stabilization and procedural sedation.
• Lead advanced life support and cardiac arrest response teams.
• Utilise point‑of‑care testing, imaging and laboratory investigations for swift clinical decisions.
• Coordinate with specialist physicians for admission, referral or discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to evidence‑based protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and emergency preparedness activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine (e.g., ABEM, UK CCT/FRCEM, European Board, Royal College, FACEM, Arab Board, FCPS).
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialist experience in an emergency department.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing (support provided).
• Strong commitment to patient safety and evidence‑based practice.
