About the role

The Consultant ENT (Otolaryngology) will deliver patient‑centred, evidence‑based specialist care at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai. The role demands adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements while supporting a high‑quality clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, ethical clinical services to ENT patients efficiently.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality management standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
• Promote continuous professional development for self and junior colleagues.
• Uphold integrity in all professional services and clinical decisions.

Required profile

• Basic medical degree and a recognised fellowship or diploma in ENT approved by UAE health authorities.
• Certification and registration in the ENT specialty recognised by the UAE regulator.
• Active life‑support certification (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS or NRP).
• Minimum 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at consultant level; experience in a Tier 1 country is desirable.
• Ability to facilitate clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior doctors.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Knowledge of clinical audit standards and processes.
