About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its continuity-based primary care, preventive health and chronic disease management services and is seeking a Consultant Family Medicine to join its clinical team. The role suits internationally trained clinicians looking for career advancement, strong clinical exposure and a modern, quality-driven environment serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for patients across age groups, covering acute, chronic and preventive health needs.
• Manage common conditions, chronic diseases, vaccinations, screening and lifestyle risk reduction.
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with specialists, diagnostics and allied health teams.
• Deliver evidence-based counselling for family health, occupational health, travel medicine and wellness where applicable.
• Maintain high standards for clinical documentation, patient education and follow-up planning.
• Take part in quality improvement, preventive care campaigns and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Family Medicine with recognised qualifications such as ABFM, UK CCT / MRCGP, European or national specialist recognition, Royal College Certification (Canada), Australian FRACGP / FACRRM, Arab Board, or MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent.
• Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America are welcome, subject to UAE licensing and facility credentialing eligibility.
• Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication with culturally diverse patients and teams, and ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations and hospital governance.
