Consultant Fetal Medicine (Female Arabic Speaker) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on diagnosing, managing, and treating complex fetal conditions and high‑risk pregnancies, working closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to achieve optimal outcomes for mother and baby.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive fetal medicine services to expectant mothers with complex or high‑risk conditions.
• Perform detailed fetal assessments, including ultrasound scans and genetic testing, to detect abnormalities.
• Collaborate with maternal‑fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, and neonatologists to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Carry out prenatal interventions such as fetal blood sampling, fetal shunts, and intrauterine transfusions when indicated.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate findings and plans clearly to patients and families.
• Stay current with advances in fetal medicine and contribute to research and publications.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited university and specialist qualification in Fetal Medicine.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fetal medicine, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized medical board.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Arabic (female speaker preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to patient‑centred care.
