Consultant Hematologist-Oncologist

About the role

Stafmed is recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Hematologist-Oncologist with Precision Medicine Therapy (PMT) expertise for a full‑time position at a leading hospital in the UAE. The role involves delivering advanced, evidence‑based cancer care and personalised treatment for complex haematological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of haematological disorders and malignancies, including leukaemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
• Develop and implement personalised treatment plans using precision‑medicine approaches and targeted therapies.
• Interpret laboratory, bone‑marrow, molecular and other diagnostic investigations and monitor treatment response.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in tumour board meetings and provide patient and family counselling.
• Contribute to clinical governance, research, audits, quality improvement and departmental education.

Required profile

• Board certification in Haematology, Medical Oncology or a recognised combined specialty.
• Tier 1 qualification (ABMS, Canadian Royal College, UK CCT/CCST or equivalent) and eligibility for Consultant‑level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience in Haematology‑Oncology with demonstrated PMT experience.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in haematology‑oncology and management of haematological malignancies.
• Practical experience with Precision Medicine Therapy and advanced targeted treatments.
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies and personalised treatment strategies.
