Consultant Internal Medicine – UAE (Tax-Free Package)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its adult medical services and seeks an experienced Consultant in Internal Medicine. The position offers the chance to work in a modern, quality‑driven hospital serving a diverse patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultant‑level care for adult patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Lead inpatient rounds, conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans and coordinate discharge.
• Manage complex comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiac and renal disorders.
• Coordinate referrals with subspecialists and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise junior doctors and contribute to evidence‑based clinical protocols and governance.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure medication safety in line with UAE standards.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Internal Medicine qualification (e.g., American Board, UK MRCP, European Board, Arab Board, etc.).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing (DHA/DOH/MOH).
• Strong clinical judgement with a commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
