Consultant Interventional Cardiologist

About the role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join a leading hospital in the UAE. The role involves delivering advanced, patient‑centred cardiac care using state‑of‑the‑art interventional techniques and evidence‑based treatment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform advanced interventional procedures such as coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Manage complex coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes and high‑risk cardiac cases.
• Interpret cardiac investigations and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Conduct pre‑procedure evaluations and post‑procedure follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Support medical education, training and departmental development.

Required profile

• Board certification in Cardiology with fellowship or subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification (e.g., ABMS, Canadian Royal College, UK CCT/CCST or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience in Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligibility for Consultant‑level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
