Consultant Nephrologist – Full-time in Sharjah, UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its nephrology, renal medicine and dialysis services. The role offers internationally trained clinicians strong clinical exposure, multidisciplinary teamwork and the chance to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment serving a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including glomerular, tubulointerstitial and hereditary renal disorders.
• Provide nephrology care for patients requiring haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and other renal replacement therapies.
• Evaluate and manage patients before and after renal transplantation and coordinate care with transplant teams.
• Perform or supervise procedures such as temporary dialysis catheter placement and renal biopsy.
• Collaborate with cardiology, endocrinology, urology, vascular surgery, critical care and other specialties for complex patients.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or equivalent specialist qualification in Nephrology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, Arab Board, etc.).
• Strong clinical judgement with commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
