About the role
A prestigious healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Consultant Obstetrician to provide specialist antenatal, high‑risk pregnancy, and maternal‑fetal care. The position is female‑only due to operational requirements and focuses on delivering patient‑centered services across the full spectrum of obstetric care.
Key responsibilities
- Manage normal and high‑risk pregnancies, including antenatal and postnatal consultations.
- Supervise labor and delivery, perform emergency obstetric interventions and cesarean sections.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well‑being throughout pregnancy and coordinate with neonatology, anesthesia, and nursing teams.
Required profile
- Medical degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Board Certification/Fellowship in Obstetrics.
- Minimum 5 years of consultant‑level experience in obstetrics, with strong expertise in maternal‑fetal medicine and high‑risk cases.
- Active or eligible DOH license for the UAE.
