Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician – Dubai

About the role

A well‑established multispecialty hospital in Dubai is seeking a Consultant / Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering comprehensive women’s reproductive health services, from prenatal care to gynecologic surgery, in a modern, JCI‑accredited environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full obstetric care, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal management.
• Conduct routine prenatal examinations, fetal monitoring and risk assessments.
• Manage normal and high‑risk pregnancies, performing vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections as needed.
• Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions such as hormonal disorders, menstrual abnormalities and infections.
• Perform gynecologic surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic interventions.
• Deliver preventive services, including cervical cancer screening, family planning and menopause management.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists and other specialists for coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs and maternal health initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (e.g., American Board, UK Royal College, etc.).
• Minimum 3 + years of post‑specialist clinical experience.
• Experience in both outpatient consultations and inpatient obstetric care.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and international obstetric‑gynecologic guidelines.
