Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon

About the role

Stafmed is recruiting a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon for a senior full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE. The successful candidate joins a multidisciplinary breast service and plays a key part in delivering high-quality surgical and patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage benign and malignant breast conditions
• Perform breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy and oncoplastic procedures
• Carry out complex reconstructive and symmetry procedures where appropriate
• Take part in multidisciplinary breast cancer meetings
• Work closely with oncology, radiology, pathology, plastic surgery and genetic services
• Develop personalised surgical treatment plans
• Support breast screening, early detection and survivorship programmes
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, teaching and service development

Required profile

• Board certification in General Surgery with recognised subspecialty training in Breast or Oncoplastic Surgery
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification such as ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST or an equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of post-specialisation experience in breast and oncoplastic surgery
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP
