Consultant Orthopedic Physician

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Orthopedic Physician to deliver primary and specialized care to patients with injuries and common illnesses in Abu Dhabi. The role involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education across various medical domains.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and address concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders, including orthopedic conditions.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, explaining results to patients.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle, diet, hygiene, and preventive health measures.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Develop and prescribe appropriate treatment plans and medications.
• Explain medical procedures and coordinate care with specialists and healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations such as patient privacy laws.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Broad knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating diverse illnesses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a commitment to continuous learning.
