About the role
A leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon. The position is full time and involves both clinical work and support of departmental governance.
Key responsibilities
- Support hospital clinical governance policies and departmental initiatives
- Take part in peer review, performance improvement and multidisciplinary meetings
- Help ensure appropriate medical coverage within the department
- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents
- Perform paediatric orthopaedic surgeries, including congenital deformities and trauma
- Treat scoliosis, limb deformities and developmental bone disorders
- Work with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists and paediatricians
- Supervise junior physicians and surgical trainees
Required profile
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery preferred
- Tier 1 qualification as per Abu Dhabi PQR
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience
- Valid DOH license or eligibility
