Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist – Tax-Free Salary in Dubai

About the role

A leading multispecialty tertiary care hospital in Dubai is expanding its pediatric cardiac services. The position offers a tax‑free salary, state‑of‑the‑art facilities and exposure to a diverse international patient base, including neonatal and complex congenital heart cases.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired heart diseases in infants, children and adolescents.
• Perform and interpret echocardiography, ECG, cardiac MRI and stress testing.
• Conduct pediatric cardiac catheterisation, balloon angioplasty and other interventional procedures.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative cardiac evaluation in collaboration with cardiac surgeons.
• Manage neonatal and critical paediatric cardiac cases, including intensive care involvement.
• Deliver long‑term follow‑up care for chronic cardiac conditions.
• Mentor junior doctors, residents and medical students.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or equivalent paediatric cardiology qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, European Board, Royal College, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, DM/MD/DNB).
• Minimum 3–5 years of post‑specialist experience in paediatric cardiology.
• Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) licence conversion.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate empathetically with families.
