Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist – UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its pediatric cardiology, congenital heart disease and advanced cardiac diagnostic services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist to join its growing clinical team. Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage congenital and acquired cardiovascular conditions in neonates, infants, children and adolescents.
• Evaluate congenital heart defects, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, heart failure and other pediatric cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform and interpret pediatric echocardiography, ECG, Holter monitoring, exercise testing and other cardiac investigations.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative cardiac assessment for children undergoing cardiac and non‑cardiac procedures.
• Coordinate care with pediatricians, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiac intensivists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists and other specialists.
• Manage acute pediatric cardiac presentations and ensure appropriate escalation or referral.
• Counsel families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, preventive care and long‑term follow‑up.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audit, quality improvement, patient safety and evidence‑based pediatric cardiac care.

• Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance expectations.
