Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist

About the role

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team in Al Ain to provide consultant‑level diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders in children. This full‑time position involves delivering comprehensive, personalised care to paediatric patients and supporting their families.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat paediatric diabetes, thyroid, growth, puberty, obesity, adrenal and other metabolic disorders.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Provide long‑term follow‑up, monitoring and adjustment of therapies.
• Collaborate closely with paediatricians, dietitians, nurses, geneticists and other specialists.
• Educate and counsel children and families about conditions and management.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement, teaching activities and service development.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or subspecialty qualification in Pediatric Endocrinology (preferred).
• Significant consultant‑level experience managing complex paediatric endocrine cases.
• Western board qualifications (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, Irish, US Board, Canadian Board) are preferred.
• Eligibility for Consultant‑level DoH licensing in Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent clinical, communication and teamwork skills.
