Consultant Pediatric ENT

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Pediatric ENT physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in diagnosing and managing ENT conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, with strong experience in both pediatric ENT procedures and surgical care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and management of pediatric ENT conditions.
• Diagnose and treat common and complex ear, nose, throat, and airway disorders in children.
• Perform pediatric ENT surgical procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and tympanostomy tube insertion.
• Manage recurrent tonsillitis, adenoid hypertrophy, otitis media, hearing disorders, sinus disease, and airway conditions.
• Assess and manage pediatric hearing, speech, swallowing, and airway-related disorders in collaboration with specialists.
• Evaluate congenital and developmental ENT conditions and manage pediatric sleep‑disordered breathing and obstructive sleep apnea.
• Provide emergency management of pediatric airway and ENT conditions.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, audiologists, speech therapists, pulmonologists, neurologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Offer pre‑operative counselling and post‑operative follow‑up for pediatric patients.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology/ENT.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist/consultant qualification.
• Minimum 5‑10 years post‑specialisation experience with significant pediatric ENT exposure.
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai.
• Excellent communication and patient‑management skills.
