Consultant Pediatric Otolaryngology

About the role

The Consultant Pediatric Otolaryngology will join the ENT division at SEHA’s Al Ain hospital, providing specialist care for children and supporting the Division Chief in clinical and administrative leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement hospital, departmental and divisional policies and initiatives.
• Assist the Division Chief with scheduling, recruitment and ensuring continuous medical coverage.
• Lead ward rounds, oversee junior medical staff, and ensure high‑quality patient care.
• Diagnose and treat pediatric ENT patients according to best‑practice standards.
• Document clinical information accurately and review investigation results to adjust treatment plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, peer‑review processes and performance management activities.
• Maintain compliance with SEHA regulations, licensure, certification and mandatory training.

Required profile

• Medical qualification recognised by SEHA (Tier 1 or Tier 2).
• Current licensure and certification for pediatric otolaryngology practice.
• Experience supervising junior staff and managing clinical services.
• Ability to work within hospital policies on admissions, consultations, surgeries and discharge procedures.
