Consultant Gastroenterologist (Arabic Speaker) – Al Ain

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Gastroenterologist fluent in Arabic to join a reputable healthcare facility in Al Ain. The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and digestive disorders while delivering patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders such as GERD, IBS, IBD, liver diseases, pancreatitis and gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology cases and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians and oncologists.
• Provide culturally sensitive communication to Arabic‑speaking patients and ensure compliance with DOH regulations.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Board certification/fellowship in Gastroenterology with a valid DOH Consultant License or eligibility letter.
• Minimum 5–7 years post‑board consultant experience in a reputable hospital.
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and English (preferred).
• Experience in hepatology and advanced endoscopic procedures is an advantage.
