Consultant Pediatrician

About the role

We are currently recruiting an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatrician on behalf of our esteemed client, a well‑established healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, high‑quality medical care to infants, children and adolescents, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric consultations, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up care.
• Assess and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Monitor children’s growth, development, nutrition and overall health.
• Manage common pediatric illnesses, infections, allergies, respiratory conditions and other medical conditions.
• Provide preventive healthcare, including immunizations and routine health assessments.
• Identify developmental, behavioral and nutritional concerns and arrange appropriate management or referrals.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging and other diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate them clearly to patients and families.
• Provide appropriate emergency care and manage urgent pediatric cases.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records and collaborate with other specialists.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
• Relevant experience as a Consultant/Specialist Pediatrician.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing patient‑centered and high‑quality pediatric care.
