Consultant Pediatrician – UAE (Tax-Free Salary, Family Benefits)

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Pediatrician to join a leading multispecialty hospital in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves delivering comprehensive, evidence‑based care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents across outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, newborn assessment units and emergency services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑spectrum medical care for patients from birth to adolescence, including preventive health, well‑child examinations and immunisations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic paediatric conditions such as infections, respiratory, gastrointestinal, allergic, endocrine and developmental disorders.
• Conduct detailed histories, physical examinations and age‑appropriate developmental assessments.
• Monitor growth, nutrition, developmental milestones and behavioural health, initiating timely interventions.
• Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies and other diagnostic tests to guide clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, paediatric subspecialists, surgeons, therapists and allied health professionals to ensure multidisciplinary, family‑centred care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure continuity of care through coordinated follow‑up.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in paediatrics (e.g., American Board of Pediatrics, UK CCT/MRCPC, European Board, Royal College of Canada, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of post‑specialist or board‑certified clinical experience.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing in the UAE (licensing support provided).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high‑technology hospital environment and to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
