Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist – Dubai (Tax-Free)

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Specialist to lead our expanding rehabilitation and pain‑management division in Dubai. The role involves delivering advanced, multidisciplinary care to an international patient base within a state‑of‑the‑art, JCI‑accredited facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological and functional impairments.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs for stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain and sports injuries.
• Perform interventional procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks and ultrasound‑guided treatments.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and pain specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress, functional outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide post‑operative rehabilitation guidance alongside orthopedic and neurosurgical teams.
• Lead pain‑management strategies, including non‑surgical and minimally invasive approaches.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and continuous medical education.

Required profile

• Board‑certified PM&R specialist (ABPMR, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, FCPS, MD/DNB/FNB).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for DHA licensure or an active DHA license.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary, high‑technology rehabilitation environment.
