Consultant Physician – Obstetrics (Female Only)

About the role

A prestigious healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Consultant Physician specialized in Obstetrics. The position is dedicated exclusively to obstetric care, focusing on antenatal services, high‑risk pregnancies, labor management and maternal‑fetal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage both normal and high‑risk pregnancies from booking to delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive antenatal and postnatal consultations.
• Supervise labor and delivery procedures, ensuring safe outcomes.
• Perform emergency obstetric interventions, including cesarean sections.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well‑being throughout pregnancy.
• Collaborate closely with neonatology, anesthesia and nursing teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with international standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a specialization in Obstetrics.
• Board certification or fellowship in Obstetrics.
• Female candidate preferred to meet operational requirements.
• Eligibility for, or an active, DOH license.
• Minimum five years of consultant‑level experience in obstetrics.
• Strong expertise in maternal‑fetal medicine and high‑risk obstetrics.
• Excellent clinical decision‑making and patient communication skills.
