Consultant Physician – Urology

About the role

SSMC is seeking a compassionate Consultant Physician specialized in Urology to deliver primary and specialized care to patients with injuries, illnesses, and urological conditions in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take medical histories and address concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses and urological disorders.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests and explain results.
• Develop and prescribe treatment plans, medications and therapies.
• Provide counseling on diet, hygiene, preventive health and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists and work with healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical laws and regulations such as HIPAA.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
• State license and certification to practice medicine.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient‑focused and compassionate.
• Willingness to stay current with advancements in the field.

Required skills

• Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
• Ability to order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribing medications and designing treatment plans.
