ECG Technician

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is seeking a qualified ECG Technician to join its healthcare team in Dubai. The role involves performing 12‑lead electrocardiograms, preparing patients for cardiac diagnostic procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation of test results.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 12‑lead ECGs in line with clinical protocols and ensure optimal signal quality.
• Prepare and educate patients for ECG procedures, positioning electrodes accurately.
• Operate, clean, and maintain ECG machines and related equipment.
• Identify technical artefacts, repeat recordings when needed, and promptly flag abnormal findings to clinicians.
• Label, document, store, and forward ECG recordings to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Support clinical teams with cardiac diagnostic activities and adhere to infection‑prevention and patient‑identification procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in ECG, cardiac, or cardiovascular technology.
• Previous experience performing ECGs in a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic centre.
• Eligibility for a UAE healthcare professional licence, preferably DHA.
• Strong communication, patient‑centred approach, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
