Consultant Podiatrist – Leading UAE Hospital (Western Qualification)

About the role

A leading private hospital in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Consultant Podiatrist to deliver comprehensive foot and lower‑limb care. The role involves managing complex musculoskeletal, diabetic and sports‑related foot conditions within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of foot, ankle and lower‑limb disorders.
• Provide diabetic foot care, wound management and high‑risk foot interventions.
• Conduct gait and biomechanical assessments and design individualized orthotic solutions.
• Perform minor podiatric surgical procedures and other podiatric interventions.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, orthopaedists, vascular surgeons, physiotherapists and wound‑care teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection‑control and patient‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Podiatry or Podiatric Medicine.
• Western postgraduate qualification (UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland) or equivalent.
• Consultant/Senior‑level clinical experience in podiatry, preferably in a private or tertiary multidisciplinary setting.
• Proven expertise in managing complex foot conditions, diabetic foot care and biomechanics.
