About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our medical facility in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing follow‑up to ensure optimal mental health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, observations, tests, and review medical histories to assess mental health.
• Accurately diagnose mental disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medication and adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals and psychologists.
• Maintain detailed documentation of diagnoses, symptoms, medications, and treatment effectiveness.
• Provide emotional support and coping strategies to patients.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in psychiatry and mental health research.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
• Completed a 4‑year psychiatric residency.
• Board certification in Psychiatry and a valid state license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening ability and emotional intelligence.
