Consultant Psychiatrist – Tax‑Free Role in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist to join a rapidly growing mental health division of a JCI‑accredited healthcare group in Dubai. The position offers a tax‑free salary and the chance to deliver patient‑centered care while shaping mental health services across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions such as mood, anxiety, psychotic, personality, and substance‑use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that combine pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care when required.
• Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Participate in clinical governance activities, audits, and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Contribute to service development, mental health awareness initiatives, and community outreach programs.

Required profile

• Board certification recognized by ABPN, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, FCPS, MD/DNB/DM Psychiatry.
• Minimum 3–5+ years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for DHA licence or active DHA licence is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
