About the role

The Consultant Radiologist / HOD will deliver patient‑centric, evidence‑based radiology services at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, ensuring compliance with ethical, professional and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

Provide high‑quality clinical radiology services efficiently and ethically.
Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with patient care.
Maintain compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
Promote continuous professional development for self and junior staff.

Required profile

Basic medical degree with a recognised fellowship or diploma in radiology.
UAE specialist registration and active life‑support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at consultant level, preferably with at least 1 year in a Tier 1 country.
Ability to support clinical clerkship training for students and junior colleagues.

Required skills

Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Knowledge of clinical audit standards and processes.
