About the role
The Consultant Radiologist / HOD will deliver patient‑centric, evidence‑based radiology services at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, ensuring compliance with ethical, professional and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality clinical radiology services efficiently and ethically.
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with patient care.
- Maintain compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
- Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
- Promote continuous professional development for self and junior staff.
Required profile
- Basic medical degree with a recognised fellowship or diploma in radiology.
- UAE specialist registration and active life‑support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
- 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at consultant level, preferably with at least 1 year in a Tier 1 country.
- Ability to support clinical clerkship training for students and junior colleagues.
Required skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of clinical audit standards and processes.
