Consultant / Specialist Medical Oncologist – Dubai

About the role

The hospital is expanding its oncology services and seeks a qualified Medical Oncologist to join a multidisciplinary cancer care team in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive, evidence‑based cancer treatment to an international patient population within a modern, JCI‑accredited facility.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of solid tumours and selected haematologic cancers.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and hormonal therapies.
• Administer and monitor systemic cancer therapies, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Assess treatment response, adjust regimens, and manage therapy‑related toxicities.
• Participate in tumour board meetings and collaborate with surgical, radiation, pathology and radiology teams.
• Provide patient and family counselling on diagnosis, treatment options and supportive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in line with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to clinical audits, research projects and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Medical Oncology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, European Board).
• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience in oncology practice.
• Eligibility to practice in the United Arab Emirates.
• Strong commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and patient‑centred care.
