Consultant Specialist – Pediatrics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant / Specialist Pediatrician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical care to infants, children and adolescents across preventive, acute and chronic settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage pediatric patients from birth to adolescence.
• Provide routine consultations, developmental assessments and preventive care.
• Treat acute and chronic conditions such as respiratory, infectious, gastrointestinal and developmental disorders.
• Monitor growth, nutrition, immunisation and developmental milestones.
• Handle pediatric emergencies and stabilise critically ill children when required.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
• Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in clinical governance and quality improvement.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
• Relevant post‑specialty clinical experience, preferably with emergency care exposure.
• Valid professional registration/license for practice in the UAE.
• Senior‑level qualifications (UK CCT, US Board, Australian or South African Board) are highly encouraged.
