Consultant/Specialist General Surgeon – Dubai (Tax‑Free, License Support)

About the role

A leading UAE healthcare provider is expanding its surgical services and seeks an experienced Consultant/Specialist General Surgeon to join a multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The position offers a tax‑free salary, modern facilities, and full support for DHA/DOH license conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient general surgery care.
• Perform elective and emergency procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of surgical conditions.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and critical‑care specialists to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient‑safety initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the hospital’s surgical services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years post‑specialist or board certification experience.
• Recognised specialist qualification (American Board of Surgery, UK CCT/FRCS, European Board, Royal College, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, MS/MCH/DM/FCPS, or equivalent).
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH license conversion (full support provided).
• Experience in a high‑standard, JCI‑accredited, multispecialty tertiary care environment.
