Contract Section Head

About the role

The Contract Section Head will provide technical guidance, training and staffing support for all contract administration matters across prime contracts and major sub‑contracts. This senior position ensures contract compliance, risk management and effective claim resolution for large‑scale EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Administer ongoing contracts, monitor compliance and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Maintain communication with clients, contractors and partners, handling correspondence, data and reports.
• Manage risk assessments and support claim resolution procedures, preparing statements of claims and defenses.
• Develop contract synopses, supervise claims administration activities and review contract drafts to protect company interests.
• Develop and maintain systems and processes for contract administration and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline) and 12‑15 years of experience in EPC projects (Oil/Gas, Utility, Infrastructure).
• Strong commercial knowledge; MBA advantageous.
• Professional certifications: CLAC or higher, PMP or equivalent.
• Familiarity with English and Welsh law, legal drafting techniques, and contractor background.
• Fluent written and spoken English and proficient in MS Office.
