Contracts Specialist

About the role

ADNOC Logistics & Services, the logistics arm of ADNOC Group, is hiring a Contracts Specialist in Abu Dhabi. The role covers the development of offshore contracts, from researching legal regulations to negotiating terms and preparing documents, and provides contractual strategy advice to the Management Team on change orders, variations and claims so that contract management is communicated, aligned, monitored and measured.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and issue Requests for Expression of Interest, evaluate responses and compile bidder lists.
• Analyse the scope of work and accompanying information for accuracy and completeness.
• Create detailed Invitation-to-Tender (ITT) packages using standardised templates and oversee their distribution.
• Draft and manage correspondence with bidders, and organise technical and commercial bid openings.
• Evaluate unpriced commercial aspects of technical bids and assess commercial bids.
• Maintain computerised and manual contract logs, and develop procedures for moving contracts to operations after project demobilisation.
• Manage contractor claims and breaches, resolve issues on behalf of the company, and draft award recommendations and Notices of Award.
• Prepare contract documents reflecting agreed changes to the ITT package, and provide contractual advice to End Users.
• Proofread and verify legal documentation, review variations and claims, draft recommendations for management approval and prepare contract amendments.
• Ensure contract terms comply with company policies and applicable local regulations.
