Control Panel Operator – Process Monitoring & Maintenance

About the role

The Control Panel Operator will monitor and control process parameters for multiple plants from the central Control Centre. The role requires rapid, safe corrective actions during process upsets and active participation in well‑pad and plant maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control continuous plant operations, identifying production limitations and recommending improvements to meet oil, gas and water‑injection targets.
• Take timely remedial actions on process alarms or plant upsets to ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
• Coordinate field activities such as surface facilities preventive‑maintenance, wellhead servicing, flow‑line and track maintenance, and transfer‑line pigging.
• Operate fire and gas panels, liaise with maintenance teams, and follow emergency procedures to shut down and restore plants safely.
• Initiate work requests for equipment or instrument failures and manage work permits for maintenance interventions.
• Communicate parameter variations and alarms to field production personnel.
